I rescued George as a kitten after I moved into my first apartment and wanted a little friend to keep me company. It was the best decision. George is so funny— he sleeps in weird poses, plays fetch with his toys, jumps super high, and loves snacks. George is a hunter. He likes to go out on the porch of my second-floor apartment and catch birds—he’s brought me several. He’s caught every bug that comes inside (even tiny gnats) and always “hunts” his toy mice. He’s quiet, but always meows hello when I come home and lets me know when he wants more food. In his 4+ years he’s never had a single accident outside the litter box. He’s extremely clean. George does not like to be man-handled. I don’t usually pick him up unless I am giving him a hug hello whenever I come home. He is not very cuddly, although he’ll take a nap next to you. He would make a perfect pet for anyone outdoorsy, anywhere he could hunt, or anyone who requires a low-maintenance pet. George is definitely unique!
