Rocket is a sweet, loving kitty. He is affectionate and loves attention. He follows me around when it is just him and I in the house. He will even follow me outside. The issue with Rocket is that he is a scaredy cat :( He took a week to come out of hiding when I first brought him home to a very quiet house. When we got our dog, Rocket was always in hiding and now spends his time in our spare bedroom and bathroom where he feels safe. He prowls around at night but otherwise doesn't get much attention, hence he is overweight. We thought we were in our forever home where he would be okay in his scaredy cat behavior, but this has changed and we are moving thousands of miles away. Our house goes on the market and he will need to be out of the house for every showing and open house, causing him to be frightened often. I do not want to put him through this and the ultimate move.
